WHY GRINDSTONE GUYS
Grindstone Guys is a family-owned and operated plumbing and sewer company serving Seattle and the surrounding Puget Sound communities. We built this business on referrals, not advertising — which means every job we run has to be good enough that you’d hand our number to your neighbor.
Our crews carry over 20 years of combined experience in sewer repair, trenchless pipe lining and drain service, and we’ve seen what Seattle’s ground does to pipe: clay lines cracked by root intrusion, Orangeburg that’s collapsed into an oval, cast iron scaled shut, and side sewers that were never connected the way the plans said they were. We bring the camera, the jetter, the liner and the honest answer.

Our Story

Grindstone Guys Plumbing and Heating didn’t start with a business plan on paper, it started with 23 years of hands-on plumbing experience across Washington and several other states.
Our founder spent those years helping other plumbing companies grow, working alongside great teams and great customers, and learning along the way exactly what a plumbing company *should* look like. Every challenge and every success taught something new about how to do it right and eventually, that knowledge turned into a simple goal: build a company worth being proud of.
Now, four years in under the Grindstone Guys name, that goal is exactly what we live out every day. Our founder holds a PL1 Journey Level plumber’s license in Washington and Idaho, backing our work with the training and credentials to prove it.
We’re family and locally owned and operated, and that matters to us. We hire from our own community, and we believe in showing up, working hard, doing the job right and then going home to enjoy our own families and lives, just like we hope our customers get to do once we’ve taken care of theirs.
We also believe good work shouldn’t come with a bad price tag. We offer competitive pricing and work with our customers’ budgets, especially our seniors, who’ve worked hard their whole lives and deserve to spend their money on the things they love, not an emergency plumbing bill.
